And it's not the best just because it uses our organic, A2A2 Guernsey milk cream-top yogurt. ;) It's delicious also because it uses fresh local berries (we used our own raspberries + blueberries from a local farm), hemp hearts, and jam from Mrs Jones Jams.

There's something about those hot, long days of summer that invites simpler, fresher treats -- especially the kind that feel indulgent but are actually nourishing. That's what you get from this frozen yogurt bark: a creamy, cooling snack packed with protein, fibre, and all the bright flavours of the season.
At the heart of this recipe is our organic A2 cream-top yogurt, made with milk from our heritage breed of Guernsey cows right here in the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island. Unlike most conventional yogurts, ours is made without any additives, fillers, thickeners, or artificial sweeteners. And because it's made from A2A2 milk, it's easier on digestion! Many people who struggle with dairy find that they can enjoy our yogurt without discomfort.
This frozen yogurt bark gets an extra boost from hemp hearts, which offer plant-based omega-3s, fibre, and complete protein. Paired with our protein-rich yogurt, it makes for a satisfying snack or breakfast that actually fuels your day instead of putting you on a sugar roller-coaster! Add in a swirl of real jam and a handful of seasonal berries -- raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, whatever is ripening nearby -- and you've got a sweet treat that's the best of summer produce. :)
So whether you're making it for little ones, for your own midday cravings, or as a fun freezer snack to keep in hand, this bark is a refreshing way to enjoy real, local food in a simple and nourishing way.

Ingredients
2 cups of our cream-top vanilla yogurt
1/4 cup raspberries (fresh or frozen)
1/4 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
2 tbsp hemp hearts
2-3 tbsp of your favourite jam (we used Mrs Jones' Jam strawberry vanilla jam)
Instructions
1.Prepare the tray. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Pour and spread the yogurt onto the parchment paper, about 1/2 inch thick.
3. Swirl in the jam. Drop small spoonfuls of the jam across the yogurt, then use your spoon or a knife to gently swirl it in for a marbled effect.

4. Add the toppings. Sprinkle the raspberries, blueberries and hemp hearts evenly across the surface. Gently press larger berries in so they stick once frozen.
5.Freeze. Place the tray in the freezer for 3-4 hours, or until completely firm. (Overnight is best.)
7.Once frozen, lift the bark out using the parchment, break into shards, and store in a sealed container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
And, that's it!
You can also add granola or crushed nuts for an extra crunch or pour some chocolate sauce on top... it's up to you and your taste buds! We invite you to explore the rest of our website to learn more about us. :)
