Erin Mae Designs -- NEW!
Erin Mae Searl has been knitting since she was 7. Over the years, she has fallen in love with using wool and is passionate about spreading awareness of its benefits. One of the main reasons she loves using wool is that is a natural and renewable resource.

Wool lends itself well to many things, but one item the benefits greatly from wool's natural properties is socks! This is why she has chosen to use wool as the base for her handmade socks.

When you put on a pair of wool socks, you benefit from the comfort that wool brings. But that is not all -- wool naturally regulates body temperature by capturing your body heat in the fibres to keep you warm and also wicks away moisture during warmer weather to keep you cool. This amazing property of wool helps to keep your feet dry. Wool is also naturally antibacterial, which helps to combat odours. This, in turn, keeps your socks fresher for longer.

Erin lives in the Cowichan Valley, where she uses a CSM (circular sock machine) to knit her wool socks. Each is is carefully crafted using quality merino wool yarn... and a lot of love. :)
